Electronic is the Design Museum’s first major exhibition exploring dance music. The show evokes the experience of being in a club, through the people, art, design, technology and photography that have been shaping the electronic music landscape. The show features specialist installations by The Chemical Brothers, Kraftwerk as well as specially designed features by 1024 architecture.

Beam Lighting created a design and control system for the whole exhibition which worked in time with the genre-spanning soundtrack by French DJ and producer Laurent Garnier. We also installed all the practical elements from the Jean-Michelle Jarre studio.

Beam worked alongside All Things Studio to create a design that enabled social distancing throughout the exhibition.
