Edvard Munch: Love and Angst
British Museum
★★★★★ ‘This is an exhibition that shows why we need art’-The Guardian
A father of Expressionism and the creator of one of the most recognisable depictions of human emotion, Edvard Munch is famous for his radical and subversive style. This exhibition at the British Museum showcases the largest collection of Munch’s prints for 45 years, exploring the imagination and history of the man behind The Scream.
Working with 3D designer Aaron Jones, Beam created an effective, mood driven lighting scheme. Each work of art was lit precisely, paying close attention to conservation levels, and bespoke lighting elements were designed to create subtle dynamic interest and support the exhibition narrative.
