Nike superrep Global Launch

Shoreditch Electric light station

Beam were approached by Aldworth, James and Bond last year to work as lighting design and build partner for the global launch of Nike’s newest trainer, the Superrep.

Working with creative design company Storey Studio, Beam created a futuristic and sleek lighting experience. Using a combination of atmospheric colour washes and striking lighting, we transformed the Shoreditch Electric Light Station in London.

Beam created bespoke light sculptures encircling the Superrep shoes, focusing the space and celebrating Nike design.  Glowing arches of LED lights, repetitive bands of colour echoing the repetition of movements in a high intensity workout class, added a rhythm and pacing to the journey.

In the main workout space Beam programmed the lighting to complement the content playing on the huge screens ensuring a seamless, synchronised experience and invoking a sense of Nike’s vision for the future of fitness.

Beam were excited to collaborate with event designers Storey Studio as well as Aldworth, James and Bond (Build), Circus Family (Visuals), Limelight (Event) and Maestra/& Bulefin (AV).

Huge thanks to our hard working crew and TSL supplying all our lighting and rigging
