★★★★ The Guardian

'A technicolour medley of shapes and styles'
★★★★ Evening Standard

Sneakers Unboxed: Studio to Street is the Design Museum's latest major exhibition focusing on the evolution of the sneaker.  From shoes developed for specific athletic sports to iconic cultural symbols, the sneaker is a staple worn by millions worldwide.   Featuring over 200 trainers by industry leaders, the exhibition explores the technical challenges of early Nike experiments, game-changing collaborations and new designers that seek to create sustainable sports fashion.

Beam worked on this extended build period with designers Interesting Projects, to develop a working design re-using existing stock from within the museum. We made use of equipment bought for previous shows to integrate set lighting elements as much as possible.
